Angel Food Lunch Ministry
Volunteers pick up prepared meals and deliver to those in need to show support and concern of the church community. Our senior community benefits greatly from this program.
Bible Study/Pastor’s Class
This class is available to anyone interested in learning about the written Bible in an interactive atmosphere. The class meets every Wednesday at 7:30PM for one hour in the Hettie Boone Fellowship Hall and is taught by our Pastor, Vernon C. Miller and other volunteers. Light refreshments are provided.
The Children’s Church Ministry
A place where children ages 2½-10 years old can Praise the Word of God on a level they can understand! It begins during Praise & Worship service, at 10:30am-12:30pm. Interactive Bible stories, arts, crafts, games, music and plenty of movement are a part of this program!
The Executives for Christ
This is a group of young Christian adults; age 20 to 40ish who meet to share their love of Christ. Different and exciting events are planned throughout the year. Be sure to check the bulletin for upcoming events.
Men’s Fellowship
All men (young and up) are encouraged to come out for food, fellowship and sharing in the word! This meeting is held every third Saturday of the month at 9:00AM.
Midweek Hallelujah Service
Come out with a friend and get revived for the rest of the week! There is music, singing, prayer and The Word of God wrapped up in one hour! This takes place every Wednesday at 7:00PM in the Sanctuary.
Connecting Through New Light Ministries
Naomi/Ruth Women’s Fellowship
Women of all ages are encouraged to come out and fellowship with one another. The ladies meet every 4th Friday of the month. Different events are planned throughout the year so be sure to check the bulletin for updates.
The Nursing Ministry
The Nursing Ministry help the congregation with health related needs, acts as counselor, educator, and advocate. The nurse makes hospital, nursing home and home visitations; coordinates and administers programs and offers general support to the church as needed.
The Praise Dance Ministry
A group of Christian brothers and sisters coming together to dance to the glory of God! They meet each Sunday after Worship Service and perform every 4th Sunday. This ministry is open to both young and old.
The Prayer Chain
The Prayer Chain is an opportunity to gather our congregation together “in spirit” to support those of us in need and to witness, as a community of faith, the power of prayer. The process is a phone chain. A call to the coordinator by any church member initiates the chain.
Transportation
Volunteers assist in driving (or find assistance) for a church member who is unable to get to and from church services and/or activities. Contact the church for this service.
Youth ConneXion
Parents bring your children out and kids bring a friend with you for fun, food and fellowship! YC is held on first and third Fridays at 7:00PM under the supervision of our Youth Advisors. Different events and outings as well as Christian Fellowship are planned throughout the year.
